Great Oaks Connecticut

The Great Oaks Foundation envisions an America where every child has the support of a tutor to enable them to realize their full human potential.  In partnership with Achievement First, Great Oaks Connecticut deploys AmeriCorps Fellows in public charter schools located in New Haven, Hartford, and Bridgeport. Great Oaks AmeriCorps Fellows are trained and supported to provide students with high dosage tutoring and mentoring throughout the school year, and to contribute to the vitality of the local communities where they serve.
