Attendance “Charge Back” Policy

CCCS sponsored events require AmeriCorps program attendance and participation as stipulated in the Grantee Contract, Part IV. Description of Applicable Requirements, Audit, Grantee Activities and Budget.

AmeriCorps*Connecticut subgrantees are required to review their Grantee Contract annually for specific event attendance requirements as they pertain to AmeriCorps program staff and AmeriCorps members.

To efficiently manage expenditures for trainings and special events, the Commission has instituted an Attendance “Charge Back” policy. In the event of unexcused absences or unreserved participation, the Commission may assess the program the cost/person accordingly.  An invoice for any fees incurred will be sent to the program within seven (7) of the event.
